In retrospect, while despicable actions by Rob Manfred, who swiped the 2021 ASG from Atlanta and moved it to Denver a couple months before the game, Atlanta actually benefitted from his. The Braves won the pennant in '21, to Manfred's chagrin, and having that year's ASG in Colorado near the end of the China Virus panic minimized the fun of the events while still at full price. Now with a packed Truist Park and Battery Atlanta, the heart of the south will have all events at full power and an amazing time for all who attend.
Right now, the date is set for Tuesday, July 15, 2025. That means All-Star Village and events should be Friday, July 11 thru Tuesday, July 15.
This is the best I have now, considering the Braves play in St. Louis on Sunday, July 13 and nothing until the Yankees on Friday, July 18.
In the next few upcoming weeks I will find out as much as possible to be able to book early and hopefully at a discount before hotels lock down rooms or raise rates. At this time days following the ASG in Arlington, try to start booking REFUNDABLE Atlanta hotel reservations near Truist Park and The Cobb Galleria if you wish to stay close to the game and where I think will be the All-Star Village venue. Player and Staff hotels will be high-end hotels likely in nearby Buckhead, despite the logistics to move people around for their events.
But by booking almost a year in advance with refundable reservations, you can lock in a good rate and area and flexibility of dates that will later be blocked by group rooms and of course the fans coming in for the game. DO NOT book non-refundable rooms unless it's closer to All-Star Weekend. Also, check monthly to see if rates adjust, I have seen rates for ASG Week get lowered which allowed for a rebook at no charge to get the better rate.
The first time I attended an All-Star Game was 2004 in Houston. It took just one visit to all things ASG to get hooked.
I'm sharing my experiences attending ASG weeks so you can maximize your visit to the current year's host city.
Hey, Arlington, TX, thanks for an AWESOME 2024 with the All-Star Village at Choctaw Stadium and HRD & ASG at Globe Life Field!
AND, of course not the fault of you fine folks it was so hot!
It's ok to wait to the last minute if you don't get a strip, SeatGeek (I have NO affiliation) is a great place to check for folks who panic they won't resell their "extra" tickets, and usually MLB official sells seats within a month of the events.
It's used to be an unpaid gig and was priceless. In 2022, Los Angeles made this a paid position, and the same is the case for Atlanta in 2025!
This is your chance to go behind the scenes of MLB as a member of the All-Star Experience Team.

Most businesses in the vicinity of the ASG get into the spirit of a big event like the ASG. In this case, an unidentified worker at the MLB Staff Hotel puts up signage inside the hotel lobby.

Once the official events by MLB are over for the day, the host city allows visitors and residents alike to immerse themselves into local events. Here, The Kansas City Power & Light District hosted nightly concerts and clubs events.

There are so many events and activities in which to partake, you'll definitely get exercise during ASG Week. But there's nothing like a 5K Run or Walk to see more of the host city. Nice souvenir to have a 5K Shirt and medal (if applicable) to commemorate your visit.
