We are underway, enjoy an amazing week of all things baseball!

The first time I attended an All-Star Game was 2004 in Houston. It took just one visit to all things ASG to get hooked.
I'm sharing my experiences attending ASG weeks so you can maximize your visit to the current year's host city.
Congrats to Atlanta, Buckhead, The Battery, Cobb Galleria and the Braves for an AMAZING 2025!! To have the ASW festivities in one's backyard and likely the last time in my lifetime, it was a blessing. Maybe having the game obtusely stolen in 2021 was a blessing, as ATL was in full power and well prepared, quite unlike Denver was.
Now we prepare for 2026! I've never attended a game at Citizens Bank Park, nor have I ever visited Philadelphia. But looking forward to knocking another stadium off the checklist!
At this time there is not much info available, but the good news is we know where to book a hotel close to the activity. MLB's website listed the All-Star Village will be hosted at the Philadelphia Convention Center, 1101 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107.

It's ok to wait to the last minute if you don't get a ticket strip. SeatGeek (I have NO affiliation) currently has tickets on sale. But remember, folks who panic they won't resell their "extra" tickets may drop the price in the days up to and including day of the event. MLB is taking registration for the lottery, https://www.mlb.com/all-star/tickets/ticket-strip-purchase-opportunity to get face value ticket strips.
It's used to be an unpaid gig and was priceless. In 2022, Los Angeles made this a paid position, and expected to continue in Philadelphia in 2026.
This is your chance to go behind the scenes of MLB as a member of the All-Star Experience Team.
2026 will be my 9th year, learn more about the program by clicking below:

A host city venue becomes
Baseball Mecca...
Interactive Games. Baseball History. Live Broadcasts.
Free Autographs. Player Skill Demos.
Celebrity Appearances. Prizes and Giveaways. Concerts.
Did I mention Free Autographs?
There is something for EVERYONE.
The last 5K prior to Atlanta's 4.4 Miler to honor Hank Aaron was Cleveland in 2019. We will see if Philly can be up for the challenge.
You've got questions? Tickets? Events? Bag Policy? No problem! Official info from the source.

If you can find time in between the plethora of MLB events, Host Cities and stores, restaurants and facilities host their own events featuring local flavors.
Be sure to check with local media sites for more info.
One of the great parts of All-Star Week brings the opportunity to add autographs of past and present players, especially heavy related to the host city. Unfortunately, one must wait until a few days before events begin to find out the majority of who will participate. Note that one the list is revealed, there are two key points to remember. Each day about 9am (as in prior years) and IF you have the Ballpark App on your phone and already registered for the Experience Pass, you can book ONE guaranteed player reservation. After that, there is a standby line for each player on a given day, but as you can guess the bigger the names, the faster the reservations disappear and the longer standby lines get. But prep by checking out the schedule! And not only can you get autographs with reservations, but there are meet and greets and Q&A sessions that may be available, so check for that too. Once we get to July 2026, we should have a list of attendees available.

2026 Philadelphia Phillies ('43, '52, '76, '96): Citizens Bank Park
2027 Chicago Cubs ('47, '62, '90): Wrigley Field
2028 TBD - San Francisco ('61, '84, '07) may be the front runner, with Toronto ('91) and Baltimore ('93) in the chase.
Editorial: Tampa/St. Pete, I am SERIOUSLY rooting for you to get your first All-Star Game as I have been a Rays fan since the debut. But the team's leadership, deadweight city and county "leaders" and bad luck from Mother Nature, pointing at you Hurricane Milton, have made the reality Miami ('17) may get another ASG before you IF St. Pete still is able to maintain a team.
Work out your issues or move the team.

Arriving on Thursday allowed a day to get in, get settled and learn the lay of the land. First stop, find where FanFest would be held... need to know the entrances as the lines can be huge daily to get in for limited first come first serve giveaways.

Most businesses in the vicinity of the ASG get into the spirit of a big event like the ASG. In this case, an unidentified worker at the MLB Staff Hotel puts up signage inside the hotel lobby.

Once the official events by MLB are over for the day, the host city allows visitors and residents alike to immerse themselves into local events. Here, The Kansas City Power & Light District hosted nightly concerts and clubs events.

There are so many events and activities in which to partake, you'll definitely get exercise during ASG Week. But there's nothing like a 5K Run or Walk to see more of the host city. Nice souvenir to have a 5K Shirt and medal (if applicable) to commemorate your visit.
